After enduring more than thirty years of drought, famine, and relentless war with the invading Kushan Empire, the Persian Empire stands on the brink of collapse. When the latest Kushan incursion pushes deep into Persian territory, it is turned back by the legendary warrior clan known as the Immortals. Their youngest member, the gifted young fighter Sargon, personally slays the enemy general and is hailed a hero. But the celebration is shattered when Sargon's own mentor, the revered General Anahita, abducts Prince Ghassan and flees to the sacred Mount Qaf, a mountain crowned by a once-great citadel long ago ruined by a mysterious curse. Determined to rescue the prince and uncover the truth behind this shocking betrayal, Sargon and the Immortals set out in pursuit, unaware of the strange and dangerous forces awaiting them.
